Plasticity 26.1.3 Studio Win
Updated Plasticity 26.1.3 Win Patch v2 (Tested & Working on Win11)
Fixes broken density slider in mesh export.
Follow complete patch steps for first run or simply replace old patch.node in C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Plasticity\app-26.1.3\resources\app\.webpack\renderer\app_window with the new patch.node file in Plasticity-26.1.3-Win-Patcher-v2.zip's patchfiles folder if you've already run v1 patch.
Runs Plasticity 26.1.3 as Studio, perpetual, fully offline.
Steps:
-
Uninstall previous versions of Plasticity as patch might conflict with it.
-
Install Plasticity 26.1.3 with Setup in torrent or via Github installers.
-
Close app if it shows the login/license window.
-
Run patch.exe and point it to default app location.
Default install location for Setup is C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Plasticity\app-26.1.3, where %UserName% is your actual username.
If you used the MSI installer from Github, it'll be at C:\Program Files\Plasticity\app-26.1.3 instead.
Patch will also work if run it from C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Plasticity\ or C:\Program Files\Plasticity\ since it recursively searches for the correct exe and app files.
- Click Install; it should display: Install Complete.
Launch Plasticity.
5a. Done.
5b. Original license and app files can be restored via Restore button in patcher if needed.
Notes:
Patcher needs admin elevation to patch hosts file (blocks app from reaching the license servers).
Copy patch zip contents to app installation folder and then run it for smoother auto app folder detection in case you're having issues.
Known Bugs:
When adjusting mesh-export density, do not drag the slider. Dragging re-facets the whole model live on every change and can gray-out the window / crash the renderer on heavy models (Plasticity 26.1.3 app bug).
Instead, type the value or single-click the slider (facets once), and approach fine density gradually.
Exporting smaller selections also helps.
Has more false positives than last time for some reason, but they are all generic detection.
Add patch files to AV exceptions so it doesn't get removed.
You can delete the patcher one you're done too.
