CgCircuit - Houdini FLIP FX Container Ship vs Monster Wave

An advanced, production-oriented online course/tutorial that teaches how to create a cinematic-quality, large-scale ocean visual effects shot in Houdini. The course is instructed by Mirco Paolini.

Course Overview

Goal: To simulate a massive tidal wave colliding with a cargo ship and produce a photorealistic final effect.

Target Audience: Intermediate to advanced Houdini users.

Focus: The course focuses exclusively on the FX workflow within Houdini; the final compositing (done in Nuke for the trailer) is not part of the tutorial.
