CGCookie - Concept - Creating a Robot in Photoshop

Part 1: For Concept Cookie?s first weekly Friday Citizen Exclusive tutorial I take you through the first part of drawing a robot in Photoshop, focusing on the head. This tutorial goes through starting from a circle and building it up using 2 of the preset brushes.

Part 2: For this Friday Citizen Exclusive tutorial we take you through the second part of drawing a robot in Photoshop, this time focusing on the body. I go through laying down base colors and shapes and then build on it with outlines and also how to create a glow effect.

Part 3: For this Friday Citizen Exclusive tutorial we take you through the third part of drawing a robot in Photoshop, this time focusing on the arms and legs. I go through building up shading in the shapes and the different ways to flip them and copy them symmetrically without them looking exactly the same.

Part 4: For this Friday Citizen Exclusive tutorial we take you through the fourth part of drawing a robot in Photoshop, this time focusing using a multiply and overlay layers to enhance the drawing. This also covers laying out a quick background.
