Release Notes:
1.11 Release
*Viewport 2.0 support for Maya 2014
*added tightness control for ESmooth
1.1 Release
*Added Diamant Modeling Companion
*Ctrl + Shift + Middle while having Edges selected with Advanced Modeling Tool is now Bevel
*Removed tablet pressure to avoid crashes when wacom drivers crash
1.02 Release
*fixed shelf bug where it would delete your other shelf buttons or keep asking to place the button on a shelf.
*Fixed update problem where it would tell you there was a new version when there was not
*support for network license
1.01 Release
*when activating your license, it will create a license file in both the users directory as well as the data directory. This is for computers that have multiple users. As long as each computer has its specific DiamantTools directory, it will search there for activation if it does not find the license in the users directory. If the DiamantTools directory lives on a network drive that is shared between multiple computers, the users drive will be the best place for the license file until network licensing is supported.
(1.0 users. If you need this support, copy your DiamantTools.txt file from your users/Documents/maya directory to the data directory of the program install.. example c:/DiamantTools1.0/data/DiamantTools.txt)
1.0 Release
*Added Project Mesh on Mesh
*added automatic update button to the update menu. Uncheck this for Diamant Modeling tool to not check the internet for an update upon load
*added a manually update button to check for updates
1.02 Alpha Release Notes
*removed custom nodes from the tool. The only custom nodes remaining are drawing nodes which will not get saved with the scene. This makes all scenes safe to pass around without the need for the plug-in to be loaded.
*fixed a bug with merge verts in custom modeling tool that does not work if the model has local transforms
*changed the way the uv polygon object interacts with the mesh object so it did not require a custom node. (NOTE: If the object has history when you add it to the uv window, dependent on the polygon count of the object, it could run significantly slower than if you did not have history on the object. If you run into this delete history first, then add the uv polygon object to the window)
(NOTE: if you save a scene with a uv polygon object in the custom uv window, when you reopen that scene, editing that mesh will not edit the uvs of the object. You must delete that mesh and re- add it to the window.)
*in order to remove the custom node for automatic uv creation, the user must now delete history (if it has history) on the object prior to running unwrap. The user will be prompted to delete history by the tool.
* Cut Poly Uv?s in the custom uv editor has been taken out for the time being. This is due to the non node version.
*fixed a bug that would cause uv?s to show up black if certain faces are not mapped on the object. The tool will now error out and print a message letting you know that there are faces on the mesh that are not mapped. For now the tool requires all faces to have a mapping.
1.01a Alpha Release Notes
*fixed a bug with Poly Build which caused incorrect results if used on a scaled object
*fixed extrude error in Maya 2011
*GRAB BRUSH: add Ctrl + drag to move along first hit normal
*GRAB BRUSH: add Ctrl + Shift + drag to inflate move
1.01 Alpha Release Notes
* Got rid of custom node for merge vertices (older scenes with these nodes in them will fail to open. If this is the case, load it with prior version and delete history on the object)
*merge vertices is now a single undo and redo command
*Got rid of custom node for Poly Build(currently older scenes will still work since the plugin has the node information available. This will be removed in future builds. Delete history on objects that have this old node)
*Poly build now uses current vertex information for building. This should make mirroring more reliable. However, if the object is not symmetrical, you could get odd results since it uses the closest mirror point.
*Fixed camera jumping bug when using brushes in orthographic mode
*Ctrl + Shift + middle Mouse button + dragging while using Advanced Modeling Tool now extrudes either faces or edges
*source DagMenuProc to eliminate error when using brushes if it has not been initialized prior
*fixed interface bug with Spec and Trans color sliders
*fixed interface bug which does not set the intensity value slider correctly
*Changed the config file to point to the Maya User Directory for pipelines that cannot write to the data folder. Config changed to DiamantTools.cfg and now lives in user/maya/version/prefs/configFiles
