Version 6.1 offers compatibility for Photoshop CS6 as well as new features such as the ability to import an image and directly have the image be mapped onto an object for you.

Other features include an improved OpenGL renderer so you can see shadows live in the 3D Preview window and a new Grid Shader which is useful to create bump maps or transparency maps!
